We are in the process of developing a “Furlough Friday” information website (which will be launched next week)
to help parents in identifying optional activities for their children when schools are closed because of teacher
furloughs. The first furlough is scheduled for October 23, 2009.
If you are planning any “Furlough Friday” activities, we would like to include your information on the website.
Please help us by sending as much of the following information that you currently have. Details can be updated
later as they become available. If you have a website describing your program, please give us the link so that it
can be included on the “Furlough Friday” website.
We are not endorsing the activities but want to share information with parents.
